VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT-JAVA DEVELOPER

Vertex special technology Pvt. Ltd a newly startup and leading IT company (Collaboration with American Project) in Lalitpur, Nepal is seeking for a talented and experienced Java Developer who have demonstrated experience of developing java-based web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands on working experience with Java and Java Script.

Position Title: Java Developers 

Position Required: 2 persons

Duty Station: Sanepa-2, Lalitpur Nepal

Job Responsibilities: 

• Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications using Java 
• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Translate business rules & requirements into written technical and functional specifications
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Design and develop code for software components and applications based on non-functional requirements
• Participate in application integration efforts

Job Skills/Qualification Requirements:

• BS/MS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Must have 5+ Years’ hands-on professional experience as Software Engineer using Java, JavaScript 
• Should have strong experience with API Development and integrations
• Should have Demonstrated experience in karate framework 
• Should have experience of working with open-source applications 
• Should have Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) 
• Should have experience of CI/CD and containerization using tools like Lambda, Docker, etc
• Strong understanding of UI components
• Must be able to write clean and reusable code for Java based applications
• Knowledge of AWS, API Gateway, ELK, DataDog, Splunk, Kafka, REST, Git, Jenkins, SAML and Mongo DB, API Gateway
• Practiced understanding of Agile development methodologies & understanding of DevOps Integration
• Experience of working with Jira
• Must have good organizational management and communications skills
• Able to work independently
