Integrated Community Development Organization (ICDO), Lalitpur is a non-profit making, non-governmental and non-political network organization of Community Based Organizations (CBOs), established in 2010 AD. ICDO has been working for the sustainable development of the society envisioning "self-reliant, well-governed, prosperous, just and equitable society." ICDO has been working to uplift the living standard of underprivileged groups,including the poor, women, Dalits, and other marginalized and excluded groups in the areas of sustainable livelihood, DRR, WASH, Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), CBOs development and strengthening good governance for the past 12 years. 

ICDO is dedicating its efforts for fulfilling its commitment through a partnership with various local, national as well as international agencies, networks, and alliances. Our efforts are strengthened by our well-qualified and experienced staff members, and connection with the community, and hence, we have been successful in developing sustained partnership with different development partners implementing various projects/programs.  ICDO is currently implementing Local Initiatives for Community Empowerment & Development (LICED) and COVID-19 Economic Recovery Project (ERP) in partnership with The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Nepal

Thus, the ICDO is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following position for Lalitpur district.

ICDO Lalitpur with frequent field visits to project sites

  • Candidate having completed masters' degree in social sciences, development studies, or another relevant discipline from a recognized institution) with 3 years of work experience on the relevant areas or project management, policy advocacy, local resources mobilization, coordination and knowledge management.
  • Sound understanding about human rights-based approach and other development and humanitarian work related approaches, policies and strategies
  • S/he shall be responsible for providing strategic leadership for managing project and ensuring project' outcomes/results as stated in the project document
  • Experienced skills in Leadership, Team Management by assigning work, developing work procedures consistent with policy, establishing work schedules, and monitoring work performed by subordinates in order to meet agreed-upon goals, objectives and target dates, reporting, coordination and communication.
  • Proven networking, team building, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-culture environment
  • Experience in writing reports in English, and a good understanding of the development sector of Nepal.
  • Advance use of excel word, PowerPoint and data analysis. Demonstrate flexibility and open-mindedness. Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to interact well with diverse groups of people and multiple teams. Ability to written and spoken English skills. 
  • S/he shall be responsible for maintaining good working relationships within the project staffs, the government officials, donors and other stakeholders. 
  • Strive for promoting transparency and accountability
  • Ability to manage the project team with good mobilization.
  • Ability to train, manage, monitor a team, delegate responsibility and to facilitate trainings and workshops.
  • Takes responsibility for incorporating gender and people with disability perspectives and ensuring the equal participation of women and men in all areas of work
