• Preparation and filing of monthly VAT return
• Preparation and filing of E-TDS
• Co-ordinate with IRD office for full and final audit and tax clearance certificate of the company
• Provide the documents to the statutory auditor as per the requirement and co-ordinate with the auditor for the finalization of books of accounts
• Calculate depreciation at the end of the fiscal year as per the rates and carry out annual physical verification of fixed assets with reference to the fixed asset register. Prepare physical verification report
• Prepare inventory turnover ratio, account payable turnover ratio, interest coverage ratio, leverage turnover ratio, net worth ratio, and other ratio as per the requirements
• Get approval from the management to write off missing, unserviceable, damaged or condemned assets and pass necessary entries in the books of accounts and update accordingly.
• Assist in opening LC as per Nepal Accounting Standard and logistic management
• Handle daily cash and Bank balance, the daily status of bank balance, creditor/ vendors, stock and fund requirement of each department through e-banking system and telephone
• Prepare and manage journal vouchers, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, petty cash voucher
• Conduct and execute bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, debit card reconciliation, online payment reconciliation
• Verify all the books keeping and record keeping of accounting vouchers
• Conduct party reconciliation and ensure vendor’s payment is done properly on time and further accounting treatment is done with authorized supporting documents
