The Technical Leader will provide strategic technical guidance to proactively improve performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of customers’ solutions using industry best practices. S/he will develop and maintain a broad scope project plan, outlining tasks, milestones, status reports, and allocation of resources across multiple projects. S/he will be in charge of evaluating the work processed and implementing technology solutions to meet the business’s current and future needs. S/he will also be responsible for researching and utilizing most-effective software solutions for project management practices. 

TITLE: SOLUTION ARCHITECT

Responsibilities:

• Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across project phases
• Guide the team through the development, testing, and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively
• Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development, and systems integration
• Must run cross-team meetings, “Scrum” standups and retrospectives, manage project processes, and ensure necessary documentation is available to keep the teams running smoothly
• Make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation
• Identify resource requirements, capacity plan, and manage software and hardware availability
• Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members
• Present on project statuses, with monthly and annual reports to senior management
• Meet with client teams, gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings and track project progress
• Provide an efficient working atmosphere to project teams and ensure objectives are met on time
• Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources, and guide decisions to move projects in the right direction
• Understand different programming languages, with the ability to solve problems in coding, testing and deployment

Requirements:  

• 8+ years’ experience in a related technical management role
• Comprehensive knowledge of technical project management skills
• Experience leading large-scale technology product development and services
• Experience with implementing Agile concepts and the “Scrum” SDLC
• Positive, team-oriented attitude that inspires confidence and motivates teammates!
• Experience implementing best practices for testing, release and operational support
• Good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures, and various compatibility requirements
• Proficiency in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, and strong database concepts and designing techniques
• Ability to delegate and allocate responsibilities effectively throughout SDLC
• Ability to manage change and effectively transfer knowledge for flawless execution
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients
• Willingness to work off-hours preferred

Education: Minimum: Bachelor’s in computer science or related engineering degree. MBA would be preferred.

Experience:  Prior 8 years and above experience in a relevant field would be preferred and favorable
